Are you exercising, doing crunches, sit ups, yet not seeing those flat abs? I know it is hard and we all dream of having those flat abs. However, maybe we exercise too hard instead of exercising smartly. Here are 3 Simple Weight Loss Tips to help you find out why you are not getting your flat abs, how to get flat abs fast, lose belly fat, get rid of that bloated tummy and tone your midsection for tighten abs. Sounds good? Awesome, continue reading. Just remember, you need to burn 3500 calories to burn 1 pound of stored fat.

1. Do Cardio Exercise not only Abs exercises to Get Flat Abs

Abs exercises alone will not help you get rid of all the thick stored fat around your midsection. Doing a cardio exercise routine will help you boost your metabolism and burn stored fat, which obviously include that fat around your midsection.

Learn to relax, stress is not good for your health and it is your main “enemy” to get rid of fat. When you are under constant pressure, the hormone cortisol level is high. Consequently, your body deposits more fat around your midsection. Yes, right there, around your waistline, just where you don't want it. This is why you have difficulty losing that stored fat despite doing hundred of crunches.

Cortisol, which is a steroid hormone, is produced in the adrenal gland in response to stress. Hence, you need to relax to release tension and help shed stored fat around your midsection and avoid that spare tire.

Simple as this, according to new studies stress produces excessive cortisol. It is no wonder why you experience the urge to eat, cravings for sweets, and usually high carbohydrate foods, not even mentioning junk food. Consequently, your insulin levels goes to the top, then plummet. All that excess of cortisol and tension just increase your appetite. Just stretch, breathe, and think positive.

Suggested Weight Loss Program to Lose Weight, Burn Stored Fat, and Keep the Weight Off:

1. For a healthy diet meal plan, you can eat every 3 hours healthy meal choices, making a total of 5 or 6 meals (small-moderate) a day to increase your ability to burn stored fat, increase your metabolic rate, and keep lean muscles, instead of just eating 2 or 3 large meals a day. Make sure to include protein for breakfast and dinner. Have a balanced menu, do not go to extremes. Avoid junk food or super size me portions. I suggest a Mediterranean diet, which I see it as a healthy way of eating not as a diet, consisting of fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, bread, grains, olive oil (monounsaturated fat source), dairy products, fish and poultry, moderate red meat, and wine (optional).

For example:

Snack after 3 hours
Lunch
Snach after 3 hours
Dinner
light snack (depends at what time you go to sleep)

2. Exercise at least 3 times a week 30-60 min. cardio, and every 2 days weight lifting to tone your muscles and avoid stretch marks.

3. You may add some nutritional supplementes based on your needs.

4. Drink 6-8 glasses of water daily to flush toxins, eliminate waste, keep hydrated.

5. Have 2-3 cups of green tea daily to boost your metabolism and burn fat faster.
